Student Bird Art and Nature Writing Contests are, as follows, for 2023. Winners will be announced and awarded prizes on Saturday, April 15 during a ceremony at the Arcata Community Center. Color copies of winning art will be displayed at the Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center during May and June. A reception for the general public is planned for mid-May. Winners’ names will be published in the FOAM newsletter and sent to local media. A booklet of all winning artwork and any artist photos taken during the awards ceremony will be posted at www.rras.org, www.arcatamarshfriends.org, and www.godwitdays.org.
