Kick off Godwit Days with a casual four-hour trip around the greater Arcata, McKinleyville, Eureka, and/or north spit of Humboldt Bay area. Bring your requests for species you’d like to see or just sign up and enjoy whatever trip the leader puts together to see a diversity of species to kick off the Godwit Days species list for the festival. Bring a lunch. Restrooms at some locations. Some driving and walking birding will be involved and all will be easy terrain.
MEETING LOCATION: Arcata Community Center, Outside front doors
