This workshop is designed for birders who already know common bird vocalizations and wish to expand their knowledge.The focus of this particular session will be decided on by the participants. A particular group of birds will be a focus for learning songs, chips and flight calls. The classroom and field trip will work on both identifying unfamiliar birds to group and differentiating group members (Reference event #SA41 for Basic course). This trip will not stop for food, but will stop at restrooms. There will be opportunity to use a spotting scope if you have one.
