This is basically the former “McKinleyville: The Birdiest City” trip. It will visit some of the best hotspots for birding in this unincorporated area of Humboldt County. Locations like School Road, the McKinleyville Bottoms, the Mad River estuary, Hiller Park, and maybe even a stop at a local residence for feeder watching is possible.
