SU62 Arcata Marsh Virtual Birding | 2023 | FREE

Starting in 2021, when the COVID pandemic was in full swing, Gary and Rob led this trip for 1 hour via Facebook Live. They had a great time doing it – despite causing some watching it to develop vertigo and/or seasickness from how much Rob shook his phone around! This year, Gary and Rob are back with an additional 30 minutes plus an assistant to help with the scope! If you can’t make the festival in person, join live on the Godwit Days Facebook page or Zoom meeting to enjoy 90 minutes of the leaders trying to see how many species they can “phoneskope” during this virtual birding event at Humboldt’s premier birding location!
