SA44 Kids’ Nature Walk at the Arcata Marsh | 2023 | FREE

This field trip is designed for young naturalists, age 5 and up, accompanied by a responsible adult. An introduction to birds, how to use binoculars, and identification tips will precede a leisurely walk around the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary, practicing what the youngsters have learned. Small binoculars suitable for children will be on loan to use during the trip, courtesy of trip sponsor Friends of the Arcata Marsh. The terrain is mostly flat, groomed trails. Restrooms available at the interpretive center and at Klopp Lake (foot of South I Street). Please only register your child as taking a space for this event, a responsible adult should accompany the child.
