Last year during the virtual Godwit Days festival Gary and Rob led this trip via Facebook live and had a great time doing it–despite causing some watching it to develop vertigo and or seasickness from how much Rob shook his phone around! This year Gary and Rob are back and this year it will be even more professional with an assistant to help with the scope! Yay! If you can’t make the festival join Gary and Rob live on the Godwit Days Facebook page (www.facebook.com/GodwitDays) or via Zoom meeting (how to access this will be emailed to registrants after registering) and enjoy an hour of Gary and Rob trying to see how many species they can “phoneskope” during this hour-long birding event at the premier Humboldt County birding location!
