Once again, we feature the delights of the Marsh, but with a twist. Join this tour for a unique perspective from twilight to dark at the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary. We’ll look for birds at twilight and signs of mammals after dark, including a bat hunt using an acoustic bat detection system. Dusk hours are prime mosquito time. Wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and other protective clothing and use mosquito repellent. Terrain is flat but may be wet. Restrooms available at Community Center before the trip. Light will be low for optics use. You may want to bring a small flashlight.
