Trip Leader(s): Michael Kauffmann
Michael, an author and co-editor of the book The Klamath Mountains: A Natural History, will lead a journey to Horse Mountain. Exceptional conifers include Port Orford-Cedar, Western White Pine, and Pacific Yew. Bring lunch, drink, hiking shoes, and warm clothes. Restrooms may be available along the way. [NOTE: The trip fee includes one book of your choice, up to $25 value, from the Backcountry Press catalog (www.backcountrypress.com). E-mail godwitdaysreg@yahoo.com with your book choice.
