This ½ day trip will focus on birding some of the hotspots around north Humboldt Bay like the Arcata Marsh, the Arcata Bottoms, the north spit and jetty, and maybe a few other choice locations depending on what is currently around. A nice slice of the diversity of birds found around the north Humboldt Bay region can be expected and hoped for, from waterfowl, shorebirds and songbirds at the Marsh, to raptors and open country birds of the Arcata Bottoms, to rock shorebirds and seabirds of the north jetty!
