Meet at the first large pullout south of the Hatchery Road Bridge in Blue Lake (past Mad River Brewing Company) to Join Keith Slauson to get a taste of the rich riparian habitat with mature Cottonwoods along the Mad River in Blue Lake.
From there Keith will take participants west along select different locations along the Mad River to look
for migrant passerines and waterbirds that may be using the estuary.
