Join Gary and Yurok Tribe condor biologist Chris West on this trip to search for California Condors, which were just re-introduced to Humboldt County in 2022!! We’ll head up to Dolason Prairie for our first location where we will search for condors. From there, we’ll head up to the Lyons Ranch/Schoolhouse Peak area of Bald Hills to look for some of the specialties up there such as Golden Eagle, Acorn Woodpecker, and White-breasted Nuthatch. If necessary, we will walk up to Schoolhouse Peak to scope the area and further look for condors. The price includes transportation. We expect this opportunity to sell out quickly!

This smaller group event includes a bag lunch, please let us know if you have dietary restrictions by sending an e-mail to godwitdaysreg@yahoo.com with details. Be sure to bring a water bottle, a water refill station will be available in the Arcata Community Center lobby.
