Meet at the Arcata Marsh Interpretive Center parking lot 569 South G Street, Arcata. Join Rob Fowler for this morning at the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary, considered Humboldt County’s top birding “Hot Spot”, with over 325 species recorded so far. We will also carpool through the Arcata bottom for migrant raptors and other grassland birds. Any local known rarities can be searched out as well. This trip is great for beginning birders as well as the experienced. Maximum 10 participants. Redwood Curtain Brewery is across the street from the Marsh, so we’ll end at the tasting room. LoCo Fish Co. food truck available at the brewery for lunch.
